Dr. Cowan has been the best decision of becoming my primary care physician. I’ve been with him for about two years now, and I couldn’t be more pleased. He listens, actually listens, and doesn’t try to just get rid of me. He always has all the best insight and truly wants the best care for ME. I never feel like just another whiny patient or dumb for voicing any of my concerns. I recently even had a little emotional “break down” at a routine visit.. it came out of no where, just things I had been bottling up, and I guess I was needing to get it out and didn’t know it, and felt comfortable enough to let it all out. He didn’t treat me like I was crazy or make me feel crazy. I NEVER dread going to the Dr.’s office anymore. Highly recommend!

Dr. Cowan is an exceptional physician. He listens, answers all of my questions, is patient and treats me with dignity and respect. I know I will be completely cared for whenever I see him. He is one of the best you'll ever find.

I brought my girls to see Dr Cowan when they were little over 25 years ago then as insurances changed, and they grew up, I was away for about 7 years then my new insurance listed Dr Cowan as one of my providers.... I was overwhelmed with joy!! He and his staff are wonderful!! I highly recommend him.

I honestly don't understand the negative reviews for Dr. Cowan. The clinic itself isn't the most luxurious place* (see edit below), but Dr. Cowan is great. I think he has a great bedside manner and he was especially helpful at my last appointment. My first appointment with him was about 20 years ago. *Edited- The new office is wonderful! So glad they moved to the new location.

I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. My experience was outstanding. Everyone there was so nice and cheerful. My appointment was scheduled at 10:30, I arrived at 10 to fill out paperwork and was taken back 10 min early. Dr. Cowan was so nice! He listened to me and answered all my questions and really took care of me. My usual experience with doctors is that they are in and out so fast that I can't even remember what they look like. Dr. Cowan is definitely NOT that way. I talked with him for a good 30 min and at the end he directed me to some websites that I can study on my own about my condition and how I can prevent my injury in the future. I highly recommend him. He is the best doctor I have ever had. I intend on seeing him for any future needs.

I've been a patient here for almost 30 years. If not a most caring and efficient Dr. and staff, I would have not remained nor referred so many friends over the years. Dr. Cowan is my kind of person and has had a great staff of PA's and Nurses over the years. Recently the time in the waiting room is almost nil. Thanks for keeping me healthy and well.

Dr. Cowan takes the time to listen to all my issues and never seems to be in any rush. He and all the staff in his office at Texas Health are polite with the best "bedside manner" that I have experienced in some time. After searching for four years for a primary care doctor in Fort Worth, I was about to give up and think that they all wanted to run patients through like cattle so they could make their next boat payment. Dr. Cowan and his staff have proved me wrong. Thanks you all for such great care.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Cowan and his staff. He was recommended to us by a friend, and we are so grateful she recommended him! After being misdiagnosed by a previous doctor who wrote unnecessary prescriptions and gave out wrong diagnoses, Dr. Cowan was a breath of fresh air. He did not force prescriptions on us, was patient to listen to our concerns and was very good at explaining things to us. We love him and his staff is very courteous and helpful.

I moved to Fort Worth about 3 years ago and needed to find a new doctor and my coworker suggested Dr. Todd Cowan. I haven’t had the best experience with pervious doctors so I wasn’t expecting much and was pretty anxious about the first visit. My first visit was with Meredith, she was and still is amazing!! She really listens when you talk she genuinely cares about what you are saying, she isn’t trying to rush you to get to the next patient or just prescribe you a bunch of medicine that will make you a zombie. You can tell that she genuinely cares and that was the first time I’ve ever felt really heard at a doctors office. And she is like that every time I see her she’s it’s just so kind and has a very calming and caring vibe. 10 out of 10 recommend!! My next visit was with Dr. Todd Cowan, again I was nervous because he’s the top dog in there, hands-down, the best doctor I have ever had. He is so friendly he’s funny, and he also listens and cares about every single one of his patients and he remembers you. that man is busy all the time but he’ll remember who you are and I think that’s pretty amazing. Again 10 out of 10 recommend Recently, I’ve started to see Laura, and Laura is absolutely amazing. She is so cheerful and easy to talk to. Any concerns that you have the will put your mind at ease, any question you have she’s going to have the answer for it, but she explains it in a way that doesn’t make it scary. She’s really made me start thinking about my family medical history and making sure that I am doing the right things to take care of myself and stay healthy and she also remembers everything you talked about last time I know that they have Notes in the system but she remembers little details again, you just feel very heard like someone is listening and cares. She just has a very bright energy when she walks in the room. She’s super easy to talk to, It doesn’t feel like you’re at the doctors. The entire staff from front desk is back office is amazing everyone is
